PENNISETUM (Millet) glauca PURPLE BARON

Robust, compact plants add a balanced look to mixed combos. Slightly darker purple than Purple Majesty, the leaves are shorter and wider for easier shipping, on
a plant that is about two-thirds the height at maturity. As with Purple Majesty, the young plants are green at first. The stem and mid-rib begin to develop purple colour as they mature. The colour development is best when plants are grown in full sun. Large, thick flower spikes on plants that are better-branched at the base than Purple Majesty.
